CORPORATE NEWS - Board of Directors announces a change of Ownership

Recently Mr. Trenton S. Brown – President & Chief Executive Officer has become a shareholder at Smith Pump Company, Inc.

Mr. Brown started at Smith Pump Company in May of 2007 as a summer intern while completing his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Baylor University. Trent worked as an Application Engineer, Service Engineer, and Project Manager during his early years. He was promoted to PMG manager in April 2016, and he became a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas in 2017. Mr. Brown became President in November of 2017 and took on the C.E.O. role in November of 2020.

The Board would like to acknowledge that with Trent Brown’s leadership the Company has prospered and grown. He represents change and growth as this family-owned business evolves to stay successful.
